Gull Lake School Graduate
RM Rural Impact Scholarship
An annual scholarship awarded by the RM of Gull Lake No. 139 to a deserving Gull Lake School graduate
pursuing post-secondary education.

Eligibility: Applicant must be a graduating student from Gull Lake School.

Education plans: Applicant must be pursuing university, college, or trade school within one year of graduation.

Preference: Preference may be given to students entering fields that support rural communities.

Deadline: Applications are due at the RM office by April 26 each year.

External Scholarship
Municipal Hail
Municipal Hail Scholarship
Saskatchewan Municipal Hail Insurance offers scholarships for eligible students connected to Municipal Hail clients,
employees, or agents.

Eligibility: Must be enrolled in a Saskatchewan university or technical institute.

Connection: Applicant must be a dependent of a Municipal Hail client, employee, or agent.

Application: Submit the completed form, transcript, and proof of enrollment directly to Municipal Hail.

Notice: Successful applicants are usually notified by Municipal Hail by July 31.
How to Apply for the RM Rural Impact Scholarship
Students applying for the RM Rural Impact Scholarship should submit a complete application package to the RM office.

Complete the application form.
Use the official RM Rural Impact Scholarship application form.

Attach your transcript.
Include a copy of your high school transcript showing grades up to the most recent semester.

Write your personal statement.
Include a 500-word statement about your education goals, rural values, community involvement, and future plans.

Include a recommendation letter.
Attach one letter from a teacher, employer, or community leader.

Submit to the RM office.
Applications must be submitted to the RM of Gull Lake No. 139 office by the deadline.

Preference may be given to students entering fields such as agriculture, environmental sciences, trades, healthcare, municipal administration, or rural development.
